The 2017 MIAA Division IA Men's Ice Hockey Tournament, more commonly known as the Super Eight, began on Monday, February 27, 2017 as part of the 2016-17 MIAA men's ice hockey season. The 10 team single elimination tournament concluded on March 19, 2017 when Arlington High School won 2-1 in overtime versus Central Catholic.
The 10 participating MIAA high school men's ice hockey teams were selected out of an eligible 200 teams. All ten teams were selected at-large by the MIAA Ice Hockey Committee.
